Fall Shutdown Important Dates

The end of the season is fast approaching.  Below is a reminder of the scheduled shutdown dates so everyone can put it on their calendar and hopefully we can get a good group of volunteers.  

Docks Out:
10/10 8:00 AM

Fall Cleanup:
10/17 9:00 AM
We need as many volunteers as we can get.  We have rakes, tarps, and dumpster size bags.  If you have leaf blowers, push or riding mowers, or other items that can assist please feel free to bring them to the campground.  We are also renting a brush hog and other equipment to clear debris and undergrowth from the overflow lot and behind the horseshoe pits.

Water Off to Sites:
10/19 9:00 AM

Last Garbage Pickup:
10/30

Water Off to Shower House:
11/1 9:00 am
This date is entirely weather-dependent, as cold, frost, or snow could alter it.

Road Restrictions:
As a reminder, road restrictions go into effect on October 15th.  Vehicle/trailer combinations are not allowed on the campground roads from this date until May 1st without prior board approval.  The idea is to prevent road damage caused by wet conditions from rain, snow, melting snow, etc.  

Until then, let’s enjoy the last few weeks at the lake for 2027.  It goes without saying, but it goes by way too fast…
