Sorry it took so long to get these posted after the annual meeting. The before pictures were taken last February, and the after pictures were taken towards the end of September. A lot of work and effort went into rebuilding the house, thank you to everyone that volunteered their time and expertise.
The annual election was completed yesterday, please check your email for final tabulation. Jim Apple was reelected to the Board of Directors and the 2024 Budget and Annual Assessment was approved.
Just a reminder that the 2023 election is underway. On the ballot is one position on the Board of Directors and the approval of the 2024 budget and annual assessment. If you have any questions please contact the Board of Directors. Check your email for the secure electronic ballot associated with your site.
Due to a lack of use, the message board function of the website has been disabled. Tara Bubar has volunteered to be the administrator of the new Facebook group for the campground. Please check your email for invitations to join the group.
The retaining wall on the west side of the campground was replaced this week. Below are some pictures of the new wall.
Just a reminder that the Annual Meeting is Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM CST. Check your email for Google Meet invitations. Jim A will be at the campground for those that wish to attend in person. Meeting Agenda and relevant documents were emailed to all members this morning. If you cannot find the invite or documents make sure to check your spam folder.
Below is the fall shutdown schedule. The pool will be open and heated through the end of the day on Sunday, September 10.
Volunteers will be needed to help with the docks, water off to the sites, and fall clean up. If you can help please let the board of directors know.
The date of the July 2023 board meeting has been changed to July 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM.

At the June board meeting it was decided to conduct a survey of the community to gather feedback on how things are going, what could be improved, and gather input on proposed changes brought forth by community members. Several kids activities have been added to the weekend schedule. A big thank you to Amanda Wilson (Site 39) for taking the lead and organizing all of this for the kids. The schedule is listed below:
Sunday
2:30 PM- bike/wagon/stroller parade meet at the Gathering Room at 2:15 with your favorite (non motorized) mode of transportation decked out in Americana decor. Will have some streamers and such to share.
Monday
10:00 AM – Coloring in the Gathering Room
Dusk – Glow sticks at the park
Tuesday
10:00 AM – Temporary tattoos at the Gathering Room
4:00 PM – Birthday cake to celebrate Arlo’s birthday at the Gathering Room
