HLCCA Memorial Day Weekend Schedule

Spring Opening Updates

A big thanks to Nate, Raine, Troy, Heather, Matt, Keith, and Jim, as well as Larry (the Bobcat guy) for getting the docks and slips in the water on such short notice this past Saturday.

Internet connection is up in the office and there is intermittent WiFi service in the park, this should improve as the wireless routers and signal repeaters are deployed in the near future.

Ice Out

New record for latest ice out on Hickory Lake – May 2nd, 2018

Spring Is Finally Here….

The water is turned on to all sites; a big thanks to Sean, Tim and Scott B. who got this done this past weekend.

Dick and Carolin will arrive on Sunday, April 29th and they will start work Wednesday, May 2nd. Mondays and Tuesdays will be their days off; however, they will ensure the gathering and game rooms are open, the shower house is operational, and also open/close the pool on those days. Outside of those essential functions, they will rest.

Bobbie Shafer will be handling all employee work direction and concerns. If there is something you would like to see done or addressed, please see/contact her. If she is unreachable, contact Scott Berge.

If you have a lot(s) for rent or sale and you would like to put together an information sheet/flyer, we can have those available to hand out to individuals who may stop by to check things out/inquire (make sure you include contact info). Beyond this handout, Dick and Carolin will not be responsible or involved in any showing/sale/renting of lots as part of their employment.

There will be a Spring Owners Meeting on Saturday, May 26th at 10:00am in the gathering room.

At this point the agenda will include:
1. 2018 Budget
2. Website
3. Mowing and Spring Clean Up
4. Committee Involvement
5. Rules and Regulations
6. Seasonal Rentals

Please let contact the board if you have other things you would like to add.

Water Is On

The water to the shower house was turned on this past weekend so flush toilets and showers are available.  Also the laundry room is open so you can get potable water, please be aware that the laundry facilities are not available at this time; Thanks to Sean Brown for leading the effort.

Several people were at the resort this weekend and took in some late April ice fishing (yes-there should be open water by now).  Special thanks to Nova Steinke for the pictures.  Hope to see everyone soon!
